This turquoise blue lake is so translucent, with a backdrop of cedar trees and towering rocky mountains; it reflects the whole landscape as if it was a mirror. At an altitude of 2500 meters it lies at a few minutes drive from Shangrila. Autumn colours here are also quite worth the experience and fall season start in late October or early November. Its just 20 mins away from Skardu Airport and should be your first stopover as soon as you land.
