Four focused days in the Karakoram heartland. Fly into Skardu and spend your first evening at Serena Khaplu, then explore the medieval Khaplu Fort and Chaqchan Mosque before watching the sun melt behind the Shigar Desert dunes. Day three is all Deosai — the world's second-highest plateau — with Sadpara Lake, Deosai Top and the vast Sheosar Lake. Day four is your flight home.
