At an altitude of 2400m, Naran is a summer hill station in Kaghan Valley, that has seen rapid development due to its interconnectivity to Gilgit Baltistan over Babusar Pass and its centric position to many attractions around it like Saiful Malook, Lalazar, Anso Lake and Lulusar Dudipatsar National Park. In peak summers hotels, market are jam packed with tourists specially on the weekends. For a more peaceful night stay there are many resorts on Saiful Malook Road and few kms before the main Bazar.
