Miar Peak is the sharp 6,824-metre pyramid that dominates the Hisper Valley above Nagar, its glacier feeding directly into the sky-blue basin of Rush Lake. Climbers describe it as one of the most photogenic technical peaks in the Karakoram — steep on every face, holding snow year-round, and turning gold at dawn. For most travellers Miar is a view from below rather than a summit — the classic frame is from the Rush Lake trek, where the peak reflects perfectly in the water at first light.
