Its an ideal camping site if you are visiting Katora Lake, a flat meadow which also serves as a summer pasture for locals, becomes a small base camp specially on weekends. Already pegged tents, small camps and basic food amenities are available here. There is also a waterfall about half an hour hike from Jahaz Banda, which is worth taking a splash at the end of your hike. Hike from Takai Top starts with slightly steep pin loops through pines ending up at flatter terrain at Jahaz Banda. Takai Top is almost two hours jeep ride from Thal village.
