Just Beautiful
Gupis is the last main town of Ghizer valley towards Shandoor. Surrounded by rocky towering mountains with translucent blue river; its a perfect spot to witness peak of blossom in the valley. The river form a big lake near Gupis; known as Khalti Lake. Gupis also has a British Era fort built in early 19th century which acted as a staging post for troops travelling between Chitral and Gilgit. Although fort is in urgent need of restoration.
