
The Pyramid
A gentle pyramid, with an elevation of 7266m, is the sister peak of Rakaposhi and lies in Rakaposhi-Harmaosh range of Karakorams. Its the second easiest Karakoram peak to climb after Spantik. Base camp is just a two day trek from Minapin with a night over at Tagaphiri. First summit of Diran was done in 1968 by the north face route. Ideal season to summit is from June-September,
