Under the Latoks
At an elevation of 3650m, Mango is a scenic campsite, an ablation valley contrasting with flat plains of grass and sand, has stone circles for the porter and ample space for tents. Its a trek of about 4-5 hours from Namla over the thousands of boulders gradually reducing as you approach Mango, revealing - the kms thick ice sheet of Biafo underneath and three Latok Mountains in north. Latok I ( 7086m ) in center, Latok II the highest ( 7151m ) on its left and Latok III ( 6850m ) to its right.
