A meadow in Shyok

Saling is a hidden gem in Khaplu; across the Shyok river. The journey to Saling is quite scenic, crossing over a wooden suspension bridge, over the wide expanse of Shyok, brings you to a small meadows by the river side. Then a short walk brings you to Crystal or Sogha Lake alongside a small fish farm. Saling is perfect evening retreat as the sunset reflects in Shyok with all of its hues and silhouettes.
