Passu Glacier

Crevassed Ice

Passu glacier lies on the south of Passu, the 21km long glacier connects the rugged mountains of Batura Muztagh to Gojal valley. The frosty-crevassed glacier, as it rises above its moraine, progresses in series of giant icy cones with Passu Peak in its backdrop. Glacier should be crossed with a local guide if you are trekking to Patundas or Batura Base Camp. Passu Glacier is also an ideal site to train for ice climbing.
