Hari Parbat

Rock towers of Kashmir

Hari Parbat is a series of rock formations rising above 6000 meters in the backdrop of Chitha Katha Lake. These rock formations are quite an anomaly to relatively green and milder mountains of Kashmir.

Their abrupt rise is more common to rocky Karakorams up north; thus creating an ineffable mystery around its foregrounds.

Its interesting views vary as per the viewing angle, specially its overwhelming contrast to hues of Chitha Katha Lake are quite dramatic.
