Langar

True beauty of Shandoor

Langar plains is the beginning of Shandoor National Park, wide plains fed by intervening streams from Kukush Lake is a paradise for trout lovers. Wild yaks can be seen grazing with a backdrop of Hinduraj mountains. Langar is an ideal spot for camping and fishing in summers. It also connects to Swat via Baskaro Pass (4924m) & Upper Chitral via Kachikani Pass (4766m); which are almost a trek of 3-4 days from Langar meadows. In early spring, if one manages to trek till here from Barsat/Teru, Langar can be experienced as pristine wide plains of snow with translucent intervening streams.
