The Needle
Also known as Bubulimating ( meaning Bububli’s Peak ) which culminates in a 600m needle of sheer granite. As the name Lady Finger suggests, the pointed rock spire almost forms a perfect triangle. The local name Bubulimating originates from a legend of King Kiser of Tibet who conquered Hunza and married princess of Hunza named Bubuli, Kiser dreamt Tibet had been invaded and decided to go back to Tibet, assuring his wife he would come back when “donkeys grow horns, when milestones grow beards and river flow uphill”. Bulbuli still sits and awaits for Kiser and her wailing can be heard during winter storms.
