Kaghan

Beginning of Himalaya

Kaghan is a dual name for hill station and the valley i.e. is known for its moss green ridges, alpine lakes and high altitude meadows.

In winters valley receives an average precipitation of above 10 feet on its higher nodes and lower nodes up till Kaghan village 

Its also a gateway to Gilgit via Babusar Pass (4200m) which is open only in summers.

Most famous attractions are Saiful Malook, Dudipatsar, Lulusar Lake, Siri Paye Meadows and hill station of Naran, Sharan and Shogran.
