On a bright and bustling morning, a group of enthusiastic young minds from a project-based learning school – Leo’s Workshop; embarked on a captivating journey to Lahore’s walled city, curated by Traverse Pakistan. The children, aged 5 to 8 years, were bubbling with excitement as they ventured into the rich tapestry of history that awaited them.

Through the imposing Delhi Gate, the little explorers entered the heart of Lahore’s historical legacy, immersing themselves in the rich cultural tapestry that Lahore has woven over centuries. Their first stop was the magnificent Wazir Khan Mosque, a jewel of Mughal architecture nestled within the labyrinthine alleys of the walled city.

Wazir Khan Mosque:

With wide-eyed wonder, they learned about the cultural significance of each element, connecting the dots between the past and the present. The mosque, a living relic of Mughal architecture, became a living classroom where history came alive.

The mosaic tiles of Wazir Khan Mosque are a kaleidoscope of hues, ranging from vibrant blues and rich greens to deep reds and warm yellows.
