Arang Kel

A High Meadow

Arang Kel is a small hamlet, amidst a dense pine forest at an altitude of 2554m, above the old town of Kel, it stretches in a 180 degree panorama. With recent influx of tourism village has moved deeper into the forest and the centre has been allocated to many small guest houses. A walk into its forest gives you a real essence of Arrang Kel.

A hike of two hours from Kel gets you to Arrang Kel, after crossing the bridge over Neelum River, many pin loops into pine trees get you to its beautiful meadows. More quick is a tiny chairlift from Kel to Arrang Kel that reduces hiking time to only 30 mins after it drops you at the ridge across the river. Kel is an hour jeep ride from Sharda.
